As you can see from the before photo the floors had a coloured lacquer applied that was worn through in several places making it look sad and lack lustre.

Using our Pallmann Spider, the latest German dust free sanding equipment, our team were able to remove the existing old lacquer, scratches, dents and cupping. To achieve the professional finish shown, five grades of sanding pads were systematically used.

The floors where then water popped to open up the grain and a light oak stain was applied to give the warm country look. A primer was then applied followed by the first coat of two part extra touch commercial lacquer. This was then left to dry over night in preparation for de-nibbing the floor (giving it a light sand with a 120 grit pad to remove any imperfections in the first two coats ) The final coat was then applied and the results speak for themselves
