The Spinnie Community Centre just outside elgin had a tired degraded badminton court that needed moving about two meters back. The wooden floor looked old and fairly beaten up with some gouges and deep scratches across them.
The Committee commissioned Citrus Floorcare to carry out the work having been recommended by a local architects practice in Inverness. The Job took 4 days using The Pallmann Spider Dust Free Sanding equipment. The experienced team did the first cut using 24 grit pads and went up the grades 40,60,80 grit At this point the dust from the 80 grit sanding was used to fill the floor and the floors were then sanded at 80 and 100 grit. The first coat of three, Pallmann 98 Gold Laquer was used and left to dry over night The Badminton was then set out and painted in before the two final coats of two part commercial lacquer were applied. The Committee were over joyed with the results and are more than happy to show any visitors thier wonderful new floors and badminton court.
